“como estas? mui bien.” a simple spanish phrase i learned during my stay in barcelona last week. this simple question and answer means “how are you? im fine.” i spent in total 4 days and 3 nights in the city and enjoyed every second of it.
so, in the next 3 or 4 days, i’ll publish my stories on the activities i did day after day in this beautiful city. what im writing now is the story before the holiday began.
the preparation began in march ’08, when i happened to see an offer from transavia. the airline company was selling free tickets. by that means i only needed to pay for the airport taxs and administrative costs. so i did buy the tickets for three. for each person, it costed roughly 87 euros *which compared to now is almost less than a half – the price is about 150 euros now*.
at the same time, we (me, arif, and jenny) looked for cheap hostel in barcelona. and we found BCN Loft and decided to book room for 4 days and 3 nights. each person only had to pay 75 euros for that. it turned out to be one good decision, as will be mentioned in my next entry. thus, in total we spent 162 euros on tickets and accommodation. that turned out to be a good deal, as you’ll read in the coming 4 days 😉
well, that’s for the introduction. more stories will follow *with some pictures and videos from the city* enjoy your day, wherever you’re now.
