Arsip Bulanan: Juli 2008

Juventus is back to its own fashion; a mixed of youngsters and experienced players. I can see this clearly when Juventus take on Milan and Inter in TIM Trofeo in Turin.

Please welcome two of the next generation of Juventus, i.e. Fausto Rossi (18 years old) and Albin Ekdal (19). They simply played wonderfully for their age when came up against strong Inter players such as Maicon and Figo. Rossi looked like Del Piero back then, fast, cutting inside, and dare to take on opposition. Meanwhile, Albin Ekdal seemed to be the future key player in the midfield of Juventus. Added to these two are Giovinco and De Ceglie. Can’t wait to see these players replacing the likes of Nedved and Alex, tho. It’d be great to watch them.

Btw, Juve finished 2-2 and lost on penalty shoot-out against Milan. But then they came back remarkably against Inter. A goal by Iaquinta made sure that Juve had the chance to win the TIM Trofeo this year. Alex almost added another goal; too bad his last-minute free-kick hit both posts.

Anyway .. that’s for now.

hey …

it’s been a week since my graduation day. it certainly feels longer tho, as if i were graduated a month or a year ago. have been busy at work. i was totally surprised when the icm program coordinator counted how many things i had been doing for icm. but that was not the final one. i found out yesterday that i had been developing the icm study guide *which for your information would be the guideline for the whole program in 2008/2009*, apparently. pfff … it was so amazing how my internship turned out to be so challenging and terrific in one-year time :)

well, apart from working and continuously seeking for a full-time job for september on, i was playing an online game, called tribal wars as well. this was an amazing game that required the players to be deceptive, smart, patient, and able to cooperate well in a group. added to that list was obviously a possibility to be online almost 24/7. bah… no wonder not many of them had a real real life.

that was about it for now, gonna watch a chinese kungfu series. the title was sword stained with royal blood. i watched it while waiting for another adaptaion of the famous chinese kungfu story, legend of the condor heroes, to be available.

have a nice weekend.

a day to remember. i was about to receive my diploma in four hours time. four years flew so fast. i remembered exactly the very first day i arrived in the netherlands. it was a gloomy, rainy day (later on i found out, that’s typical dutch weather). marina from international office picked us up at schiphol airport, together with marcel, a who-knows year he was. they brought us to inholland to have a small chit-chat and introduction to the university and basic information to survive in the netherlands.

and there i was. sitting behind my desk, trying to pour out my mind in the last hours of me being a student…

hey there,

this week is the time for PARTY !!!! started off with graduation party of international business and management studies (IBMS) of inholland amsterdam at pathe arena (nearby ajax arena stadium) a few hours ago. the whole theater was reserved by inholland to celebrate the graduation of its students. plenty of people were there. even more than the graduates, he he he.

the party was actually simple. two speech from the program manager and an alumnus of class 1997. and then, the graduates came forward to sign and receive their certificate. pretty straightforward, but still nice nonetheless :)

anyway, i have three more parties coming up. on thursday will be my own graduation (too bad it wont be at the same place as IBMS). and then on friday in the hague. and finally, on saturday, when i’ll attend two parties in a row. that’s why i keep this post short, as i gotta prepare myself up.

hey all …

wanna read how i successfully persuaded a friend of mine to spend some money in amsterdam, and yet she felt happy to do so? check this page out.

have fun …

p.s.: the post is unfortunately only in bahasa. feel free to ask for a translation.
