international student week ‘08
im back, and i feel great. why? because me and my group just won a competition in my university. the competition was part of the yearly event, international student week that took place from 10 to 15 march.
my group was a multicultural team consisting members with different background and experience. it was perhaps the best group i ever had in my studies. anyway, we won the competition by developing a new concept for newspaper “DAG”. the newspaper wanted to go beyond just a daily free newspaper. therefore, the mission was named DAG: Beyond the Paper.
our idea was developed in three days, which mostly began in the morning and lasted for 30 minutes. we eventually came up with a power point presentation, which was nicely delivered by my canadian and serbian classmates.
when i looked back to the week, everything was part of a nice experience, and the results made the end of my study wonderful. couldn’t have been better. thank you guys for collaborating to win the competition.
